Ragged Mountain

This home received an extensive renovation, guided by the clear vision of the owner who could see the finished product before we even began. To create a more open and inviting space, walls were removed in the kitchen, blending it seamlessly with the dining area. The master bedroom area was reimagined with a new layout, opening up the space and adding a master bathroom complete with a tiled shower. A spacious master walk-in closet was also added, providing ample storage.

Insulation was added throughout to improve energy efficiency. The old interior railings were replaced with contemporary glass panel rails, installed by Viewrail Co., further enhancing the modern feel of the home. All new mechanical systems were installed to ensure comfort and reliability. New energy-efficient windows and doors were fitted, bringing in more natural light and helping the home stay comfortable year-round. The transformation continued outside, where a full-width front deck with stainless cable rails replaced the old, decayed deck, creating a fresh and welcoming outdoor space.

Landscaping completed the renovation, opening up the exterior approach and framing views of the distant pond, allowing the home to blend beautifully with its natural mountain surroundings.
